Dear L-3 Students,
Extracurricular Educational Project “English Club Sessions with Linguistics 3: Business, Technologies, Innovations and Colloquial and Everyday English”(2015) is hoping to attract your attention:
Welcome to extracurricular educational project “English Club Sessions with Linguistics 3: Business, Technologies, Innovations and Colloquial and Everyday English” designed for extension of linguistic skills and capabilities of students in their 1,2,3,4,5,and 6 years of studies at BMSTU. An average Club Session encompasses effective use of audio-,video- and printed materials and sustains the equal distribution of student effort between coverage of Business-Technology-Innovation lexis and Colloquial and Everyday English across the diverse educational technologies available at BMSTU lecturing campus facility (“ULK”). We learn, discuss, debate, present, acquire and hone skills, and think outside the box.
We are disclosing our strategies:
- Pursuit of success outcomes: "Opportunities don't happen. You create them." (Chris Grosser).
- Making a habit of attending a session a week: The sessions are on a weekly basis . "Motivation is what gets you started. Habit is what keeps you going." (Jim Ryun)
- Result-focused approach: “Success requires first expending ten units of effort to produce one unit of results. Your momentum will then produce ten units of results with each unit of effort”.(Charles J. Givens)
- Stepping into the culture of learning: “Culture drives great results”.(Jack Welch)
