Graduated from Yerevan State Pedagogical Institute of Russian and Foreign Languagesafter V. Bryusov.

From 1992 -1994  - Taught English at the same institute.

Later moved to Moscow and since 1998 has been working as an English teacher at the Moscow State Technical University in the Faculty of L2.

Took British Council teacher training courses.
